I can still wow in FSX!

Recommended Posts

Well, this is it, DX10 Immersion Package, as requested:

NOTE:

It's beta! Why? Read further:

- Predawn/dawn/postdawn sky textures are still work in progress (probably too bright) simply because I usually don't fly during dawn, so didn't tested them.

Also:

- VERY IMPORTANT! SweetFX preset file is for SweetFX 1.5.1 exclusively! I'm using that older version of SweetFX, and I don't know if this preset file is compatible with newer versions!

- If the visuals are too bright, depending on your monitor, open SweetFX_settings.txt and find the line #define Exposure    0.04 //[-1.000 to 1.000] Adjust exposure under Tonemap settings, and change it to 0.02, 0.00, or vice versa if you want brighter image.

- You may encounter VERY BRIGHT clouds, taxiways, runways and airplane liveries with this preset! Textures which are gray, and especially bright gray will be very bright in-game. FYI I edited (darkened) taxiways, runways and some cloud textures in Photoshop to match the bright preset.

That's it! Test it and report back! Share you screens, I want to see the results. Also if everything is ok, I will upload the package to the AVSIM library.

Cheers!

Liking it! Dawn and dusk appear to be fine. Not using Sweet FX yet.

That's the thing, all my sky textures are adopted for bright sweetfx preset, so you'll prabably see good dawn, but dark day and susnet skies without SweetFX. Test other times of day. Try SweetFX it's a game changer. :)

Really nice work, congratulations!

Thanks Gabriel!

Thanks for the download link. I was going to sign in using Google but it asks for too many permissions. Any chance you'll upload to Avsim?
