January 26, 201610 yr As I said before, the only fix for this on a 16:9 screen is to move the zoom close to 1.0. No offense vortex but I'm quite aware of the pros and cons of the options here. In post #10 I advise the OP that "realistic is up around zoom 1.0" so why are you telling me about that again? I also advise him to move his eyepoint back as far as possible yet you tell me again to move my eyepoint back. Even at 0.6 zoom my 65" TV gives me a Cessna 172 cockpit that is bigger than real life. 1.0 almost doubles that and turns the 172 into a jumbo. How realistic do you think that is? January 26, 201610 yr Well, That looks good to me... stupid question because I think you answered this already but what screen setup are you using? 3x 32" HD led tv's ( 3x 16:9 ) at 5920 x 1080... To have a FOV without fisheye effect on a triple monitor view setup you need a zoom of more than 1.00 , probably 1.50-2.00. But then the scenery distance gets to nearby and way less sharp. What I am beta testing is the solution for the side distortion. As you can see on my last 2 screenshots there is no distortion anymore. The zoom is comparible with 1.00.1.25.
