TrackIR Win10

So I'm on a new rig with Win10 and I bind a few keys to use with TrackIR (Center/Pause) but the keys only work when I'm in the TrackIR window and won't work when I'm flying, can anyone help me? I'm at the gate in CYYZ on my way to JFK and my PAX are getting angry

The TrackIR itself does work? You are able to look around with it? You do have SimConnect installed? You have to do that yourself with P3D v3 (but I also had to do that with v2). Go to Prepared v3\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib\SimConnect.msi (Sp2 will do for TrackIR). Do you maybe have anything else assigned to the keys you are trying to use?

Not sure what keys you have mapped, but I use F12 (center) and F9 (On/Off) ... you need to make sure these don't conflict with any other mappings you might have in P3D and/or 3rd party like ASN, GSX, etc. 

 

Also, TrackIR needs to be set to "Run as Administrator".

Guys thanks for the replies. All I did too fix it was run TrackIR software as "admin" and that did the trick.

I made it too JFK and the WX was awful.
