Carenado new KingAir

Recommended Posts

Hi all-

I'm looking to buy the new King Air. I see that a 10 discount is available for those who bought the prior version, which I did. How do you claim that when you buy? I've emailed Carenado regarding this but no answer.

How did those of you in my position get the upgrade discount?

Thanks,

Mark

The discount is available for those who purchased the earlier version FROM CARENADO DIRECTLY ONLY

If I remember right which is often not the case, once you select your payment method the discount will show.

Yes, Hangar24 is correct as I purchased the prior version of their King Air through Carenado's website. Just purchased the King Air GTX via their website--looked for the discount "button" but it was not there. The discount is automatically deducted during the purchase process.

Interesting thing about prices for this aircraft. Carenado charges $39.99 while Just Flight charges 47.95.

Don't think so, no VAT in Iowa and if sales tax that is a bit much.

I don't have the new C90, however Carenado announced on their FB page that the 10% discount would be available also for customers who bought the legacy (steam) version from other vendors.

Meaning, you have to buy the new version from the same vendor to have the 10% discount applied.

I originally purchased the C90 from Aerosoft, and now they did not get the rights to sell the new one to the US market.  So I suppose I cannot obtain this upgrade discount.

I wonder if they would honor that if I purchased from them directly... not even sure where to reach them.  I will just submit a support request on their site, I suppose.  Cannot hurt.
