Rudder stuck over

Recommended Posts

Just had to reinstall the pmdg 737ngx to install fs2crew & now the rudder in the simulation is stuck over to the right & won't move. It works fine on other aircraft. Have checked the calibration of my Saitek Combat pedals & this is all o.k. Any suggestions  to cure the problem will be appreciated.  Tonym

Are the hydraulics powered, or are you just sitting on the ground getting ready for a flight?

Do you have auto-rudder checked in your sim settings?

Hi Scandinavian13

Thanks for the suggestions. After a lot of trials I have solved the problem (by accident!). I always start in the turnaround configuration and with the reinstall had selected an oddball set up. I changed the start config to the pmdg short turnaround and mysteriously the rudder problem disappeared. Don't know why.

Thanks again.  Tonym

I have had a situation when I loaded a saved panel state where I encountered a similar situation, the rudder was hard over to the right.  It turned out that somehow during the save the rudder trim got set to the full right position.  Resetting the rudder trim solved the problem.
