Hello AVSIM!   Last year we were very excited to announce that we would be starting work on developing a brand new flight simulator. Since then we at DTG have spoken sparingly about the project and

..that's my guess.

And even if that is all they'll ever say on the subject, they'll be spammed by questions like "will my PMDG aircraft work in the new simulator?", "have you covered the whole world in LOD 14?", "will I be able to see my house in the new sim?", "can I still use my FS2002 addons in the new sim?", "will it be 64-bit?"... Happy days!

You guys made me laugh

I don't need it right away but yes, even this topic and its replies implies that there is curiosity or at least some interest and some impending questions we would like to see an answer to. Let's hope this is the day and what they actually show is something worthy of the hype.

For example a long time ago they also announced that Train Sim was going to be moved to a new engine (Unreal engine) but as far as i know to this date people never ever saw a screenshot or anything about it.

Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."

or... Will it have native ATC ( full World localization... ) AI Traffic, including RW feed, Flight Planner ( VFR / IFR ), Instructor Station, possibility of Space travel, at least up to the International Space Station, all integrated into Train Simulator and Formula 1 ?

Can I play it on my Android or iOS too ? Or at least export intruments and other functionalities into it ?

What about being able to login through it into DCS Word and Il-2 BoS Combat servers ?

Does it come with Candy Crush for those boresome long haul flights ( like, Candy being displayable on the ND... in my PMDG 777 ? ).

Can I get cardio fitness or muscle tuning while playing it ?

May or may not help you all but Aimee from Dovetail has just tweeted something along the lines of 'Today is the day'

The tension builds...:)

I just tried to get ahold of a popular youtuber when i saw him on Steam, and he said he couldnt talk because he is "working on a video for some news today". Maybe I am reading too much into it, but I for one am excited.

Let me guess.... you want 64bit.

The plot thickens... :-)

The new FS might actually look like that marketing pic that MS used for FSX...you know the one with the white capped lake, the mountain and the God rays - yeah that one.

I am following this with interest; although I am VERY happy with P3D3.1 (and X-plane even though it has kind of taken the back seat since I installed P3D 3.1).
