Minor P2A Enhancement Request

Recommended Posts

Dave or Clive,

I feel guilty making this request about  new feature before even trying out your product, so please don't hold it against me!!!!!!!!!!!!

When V2 comes out, the user will have two choice as to how to communicate with ATC.

1) If you wish to use your own voice, then it will be "PTT"

2) If you would rather use P2A to "speak for you." then you would use "SayIt."

As I understand it, there will be a key press available for the "PTT" function that can be assigned to a joystick button, but not one for "SayIt." So my request is to ask for another key press for "SayIt," or permit a choice of assigning the key press to either "PTT" or "SayIt."

One of the reasons for this request, is that I will be using FS2Crew with my PMDG 737 and this app can keep you pretty busy.....this added feature might provide a resource relief for me?

Well Bill, as with any great software, ask and it will be there.

We actually do have both a Joystick button option and a HotKey option for SayIt.  It may not have made it to the manual yet, but it's in the product.

The other HotKey we have, (but no joystick button assignment) is to minimize and maximize the UI.

Thanks for the suggestions...keep 'em comin'

Dave
