Momentary lapse of reason

Recommended Posts

All of the OP before mentioned addons and many more work flawlessly on my sytem (win 10, P3Dv3.1, i7 3820@ 4800, HT on, AM=85, GTX 780, 1920x1080). So it seems to be not a P3Dv3 problem but rather a  hardware / settings problem.

good call: HT on, AM=85

also keep addons off of core zero (LPs 0 and 1) with a .bat or proc lasso or similar if possible

Also, I found that Tesselation at highest settings, coupled with fps set to 27 in P3D, with vsync off,

got rid of the stuttery scenery for me.

On my system things are getting better when FPS limit is going higher.

27 fps - things are not so smooth, 30 is better, so far 40 is best.

Other graphic settings seems to have no influence really.

Tesselation - i do not see any difference if this is set to low or ultra ( graphically also cannot figure out any difference )

So Artur,

It's common to find that the FPS is maintained at a lower rate than the prescribed limit, and that raising the limit can get you closer to the rate at which you originally wanted.

For instance: A limit of 30 FPS may actually only get you a 27 FPS on average. Raising the limit to 33 FPS then may yield an average of 30 FPS, and then so on.

This may be special to only system, but lowering the FFTF slightly brought the average frame rate closer to my prescribed limit and made things smoother. You can experiment with that as well.

Hello Daniel - now i turned on HT and checking if this will give any improvement.

FFTF=0.1 seems to have no influence for me.
