Best payware airports for use wit FTX Southern Califorinia region?

Recommended Posts

I already have FSDT's KLAX, but would love to complete the entire Souther California region. I know there's also 29palm's KTNP and FSDT's KLAS, what other high quality payware airports can you guys recommend that will work in this region that's supported in P3D 3.1?

KSNA and KSAN are about it that I know of.

There's decent freeway sceneries for KONT and KLGB available at AVSIM that work in P3D.  I was not able to get the freeware version of KBUR to work.  There is a good freeware version of KSBA, but I haven't tried it in P3D yet.  There's also all the smaller airports in ORBX NA freeware pack.

Really? even in P3D v3.1?  I was looking at this package.  What kind of FPS hit did you get? I wonder when we ever going to be able to use ORBX fluidly.

Not sure but when I fly in this region, it's a lot of blurries for me... I have no problem with other FTX regions. Not sure what the problem is. The only payware airports I use in this area are FSDT KLAX and FTX L70.

Anyone know why I am getting so many blurries here but not other FTX regions?

Oh sorry I sort of said that out loud - meaning I have many addon airports for that region so it's already a fps killer - I don't own Orbx SCA because I've heard it's tough on performance - even with marinas and cranes disabled
