P3D3.1, can't update to ASN4.1

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm using ASN with P3D3.1, currently at 4.0, Build 5848.

When I start it, I get informed about the update. Downloaded it in the P3D section (ASNext_P3D_Update_B5868), and started the exe.

Stops with error :  'A valid ASN version must be installed for this update'.

Started with 'Run as administrator', and UAC is disabled (never notify).

What am I doing wrong ?

Not using P3D, but I did update to B5868. Now, when I load, ASN says it's checking my registration and then the program loads.

Try re-registering, or re-downloading and then update to SP4.

Hi Mike,

Make sure that you are downloading the P3D version and not the one for FSX.

Robert,

Yes, as you can see from my initial post, it should be the correct version (P3D in the filename).

Will try to uninstall and download the full version 5868, as Doug suggested.
