For lovers of the 747..... a new toy

Recommended Posts

Very cool wonder where to find the model kit and to what price.

Must have been totally home made from scratch.

Like a wife said to a newspaper here in Sweden in an article about a RC event with very big planes:

"Men never grow up only the price tag of their toys goes up every year."

But does it have a pogo stick in the cockpit???

I saw an old powered pogo stick from the 70's on 'American Restoration' last week. It has a gas powered piston built in, use your imagination.  I remember 'Flying' magazine did a pilot report of sorts on it, you know as a means to get to town after landing at a small airport. Their biggest problem was staying on it because they were laughing so hard.

The pogo stick hidden by PMDG in a few products was not powered.

The largest plane Adi has ever built, it has over 2,000 hours of work into it, so we can only imagine how nervous he was! The 747 is powered by four Hammer Engines turbines, each with a thrust of 14kg, and it’s controlled by Weatronic radio gear. The 131-pound giant has sequenced landing gear and is 17.8-feet long.

The engines alone go for 2500 usd each so that is 10,000 just for the engines. I have built a lot of rc planes  and i could not imagine building that one.

In the last shot there is a lot of clapping as the model taxis to the fence but no one in shot is clapping. Perhaps the owner has some very enthusiastic friends watching the show behind the camera or maybe the sound is dubbed.
