US voice

Am I the only one that doesn't like the US captains voice, he sounds like a machine, too articulated. Cabin crew voice no good either, it sounds rushed, I never use the US voice set with SOP 1. I like the old voice better. I always use the UK voice.

You know, I think that guy (US captain) has been a commentator on the "Why Planes Crash" series seen on the Smithsonian and Weather Channels. Can't recall the name but sure sounds like his voice. Maybe Bryan would know.

Nope, I was wrong. The man I'm thinking of is John Cox, Aviation Analysis who has commented on several aviation documentaries. Do not see his name on the FS2Crew list. American Captain sure sounds like him though.
