Third Party Bezel Correction Software?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone here have any experience with using a Bezel Corrector that doesn't mean enabling nVidia Surround? P3D lets me drag the window across the 3 screens without nVidia Surround. It's better for me to have a non Surround config for other things. It'd be nice to be able to bezel correct for hen I'm in P3D though. I did a search and found something called Display Fusion, but the sales bumf isn't very clear...

I use 6 screens, 3 over three, and stretch the window over all of them without NVidia surround.  Only way I got bezel correction was to physically overlap the screens to eliminate the bezel.  Because you are looking at a two dimensional image it doesn't matter if one screen is an inch in front of another, or vice-versa, as long as they line up correctly to eliminate the bezel.  I have had this setup almost a year and am quite happy. .

Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.

Do you have stretching on the side monitors?

I do get the stretching at the edges of my 3 screen setup. As far as I'm aware, there's not a huge amount you can do about it. I saw a solution that involves opening 3 new views but that costs a lot in performance.

You could do it the way the Matrox TH2Go used to do it (perhaps still does), which requires no software at all. You just use the outside monitors' controls to shift the pictures inwards (left or right) so a portion of the image is effectively 'under' the bezels. The down side is you lose the equivalent screen area at the outsides. But the display width is exactly as it would be if you stripped the LCDs out of the cases and arranged them edge to edge.
