Can you open the CD files in Windows Explorer? If not then you have a bad CD. If you can try copying those files to a folder you create such as "install rcv4".

To install the program you must execute the .exe file on the cd by right clicking on it and select run as admin. After some work the registration dialog will appear and you can then follow the procedure to get your key. You will probably have to create the e-mail manually as described in the help topic. Be sure the e-mail is sent saving it in the text option, not html, for the automatic key generation. If you can not do that then send the information to jd@jdtllc.com for manual processing. That can take a few days.

If you have a bad CD and you wish to download it e-mail jd@jdtllc.com subject rc installation trouble. Include your e-mail address and user name. He'll check the list of requests from the cd supplier and if he finds you he'll e-mail a download link. It is about 600 MB as I recall. If you can not download it because of a slow Internet connection then request another CD be shipped.

After a successful install, be sure to update fsuipc and makerwys files and then run the scenery rebuild again.
