Shimmering of the airport & other textures

Hi Guys,

 

I have this small problem of shimmering of the airport and other textures. Is there anyway to stop that and keep the textures solid? Rather annoying.  Any feedback and advise is appreciated.

Since i updated from P3d v3.0----> 3.1 i have noticed a huge increase of shimmers now especially with default runway markings, most of my payware is good and nothing has changed in my setup either, i`m wondering if anyone has noticed this also.

I did notice an increase in shimmering with 3.1 (e.g. with runway edges and trees). This helped:

Yes your right it did help somewhat but you still get the barber pole effect from a distance looking at the rwy lines.

IMHO, is a problem of mipmapping and of lighting and it is not solved even with MSSA 8x + SGSS 8x.

is there a way to get rid of barber pole effect ??

I tried all the settings of nvidia control panel one by one, I've got a really satisfactorying antialiasing but on the little black lines on the wings of the NGX looks like barber poles and thats anoyying me cause I can't find the setting that makes this disapear

I found this on the Lockheed forums...

 

There is a bug in v3.1 that causes degraded antialiasing when Dynamic Refelctions are enabled. Turn off Dynamic Reflections until 3.2 is released.
