Beautiful shots.  PNW in XPX is gorgeous, just like it is in P3D.  XPX is very nice for bush flying.

Looks superb!  Very realistic looking.

Do you mind sharing how you've achieved those colours and slight haze?  I'm assuming you have a custom sky colour installed?

Thank you all!

Try these (work in progress):

(rename to "sky_colors_hialt.png" )

(rename to "sky_colors_mount.png" )

visibility: at least 80 miles;

edited art controls:

atmo/scatter_raleigh_b=41

atmo/scatter_raleigh_g=17

atmo/scatter_raleigh_r=5.8

skyc/raleigh_scattering_mount=0.212

skyc/min_shadow_angle=-90

shadow/total_fade_ratio=1

skyc/tone_ratio_mount=0 or 1

Hi murmur,

fantastic shots !

and thanks for sharing the art controls and pngs.

I'm also working on the lighting, and I'm glad you've discovered a few art controls I didn't know.

I can't figure out what 'shadow/total_fade_ratio' does. Could you help ?

Cheers,

Pascal

I'm not sure, but it seems to produce a fading of the base of terrain shadows. Try setting a late afternoon in a mountainous area and see if you see some difference when changing the dataref.

Thanks but not sure what to do with the settings. The png files did not overwrite as the originals did not say png and end of text so then I had two of same of each. I did change the name again but did not add the png  and then they did overwrite.

As for the text - have no idea where to look for those changes.
