pmdg 737 ngx/777x detection error

Recommended Posts

hello, trying to setup spad.next and fsx (retail disks) with sp2.

I get the following error in spad.next when running the configuration wizard (see pic); Is the sp2 referring to the fsx program or the version of the planes? I cannot find versions of the planes that are sp2, so I assume it is referring to the fsx program. any suggestions on how to get this going?

running windows 10 on a i7 4770k with 16gb and a ati r390 8gb.

I try to not let any software from Saitek near my machine.  From the context, I couldn't guess even what a SP2 installer is. You should be contacting that company for support..

That isn't our software. You'll need to get support for that software from its manufacturer.

so its not a problem with the pmdg plane files? not sure if its the plane files as i cannot find a sp2 installer for them, or the spad.next software - going to post on their forum as well.

Walter, all PMDG  FSX products require FSX SP2 or Acceleration as a prerequisite. There is no separate product for earlier FSX versions.

Nope.

Our aircraft do not have SP2s, so it seems they just used improper terminology when attempting to identify them.

You can use the license key to get an update from Aerosoft, here:

Thats not Saitek software at all. Its a rather good replacement for Saitek software provided one knows a little about offsets and LVARs.
