ntdll.dll is a library called by virtually every program running on Windows. So it's hard to point a finger at something here.

You don't say what else you are running, but at least check the pre-requisites...

You have at least four simconnect versions installed 60905, 61242, 61259, 1.0.20.0.

The P3D program files folder has Modify permission added to the Users group.

Thanks for your quick answer. 1. what are the pre-requisites ? and I run Win 10 and next to P3D I run ASN, vPilot, VATSpy and sometimes PFPX 2. how can I uninstall the simconnect versions that I don't need? 3. I don't undestand that I'm sorry

check the pre-requisites... No problem I hope this more detailed explanation helps. Once those are done they can be eliminated from the enquiry.

1. You have at least four simconnect versions installed 60905, 61242, 61259, 1.0.20.0.

2. The P3D program files folder has Modify permission added to the Users group.

1. We install simconnect from the redist folders by running the SimConnect.msi...

these are the FSX simconnect versions that many addons need:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\redist\Interface\FSX-RTM\retail\lib\SimConnect.msi

C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\redist\Interface\FSX-SP1\retail\lib\SimConnect.msi

C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib\SimConnect.msi

We can just install these by double-clicking the .msi, doesn't matter if they are already installed.

1.0.20.0 is installed by P3D installer, but can be installed again to be sure it's OK:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\redist\Interface\ESPv1\SimConnect.msi

(Never uninstall any simconnect versions)

2. In Explorer, navigate to the P3D program files folder. Right click on it, choose Properties, select Security tab, click Edit, select the Users group, check the Modify box, press Apply, OK.

Yes, just as I thought, a stackhash is where the stack (an area of program memory) has been collated into a handy bundle for programmers to inspect. Ironically it won't help them much. This indicates that it is unknown exactly where the error originated. This can be reproduced by deliberately fudging up simconnect or modify access to certain addons. So that's why we check those things first. Then if the problem persists we can move on to the next stage of elimination.

Ok so what should I do now?, I just checked P3D and it crashes as soon as I connect with VATSIM.

Right, seems like a problem with the VATSIM client. Can you see if you have the latest version and install it again. Then check it's not your internet security or browser black list.

Ok, I reinstalled vPilot and checked my internet security and browser black list, but it still doesn't work. I even reset my BIOS because of the overclocking, but that didn't solve it either.

The CTD happens and P3D crashes when you actually run the client, or when the client attempts to connect to VATSIM, or after it connects?

Are you starting P3D fully before loading a plane and making a flight plan?

It crashes about 1 minute after I connect to VATSIM.

My "flow" when I do a VATSIM flight:

  1. Start up PFPX, ASN and VATspy
  2. Make Flightplan, save it etc.
  3. File Flightplan online
  4. Start vPilot
  5. Start P3D
  6. Load into the flight
  7. Connect to VATSIM

Did it just stop working OK at one time recently, if so any changes you can remember? Or has it not worked yet?

It just stopped. I made a flight last week, everything was perfect and then the next day these CTD's started. I think I uninstalled UT2 because I don't need it anymore.

OK.

Can you go to:

C:\Users\[you]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

find dll.xml, open in notepad, copy the complete text and and paste it here for me to inspect and maybe edit it for you.

Also can you open fsx.cfg and look in the [Main] section.

Look for anything like this in that section:

"SimObjectPaths.6=SimObjects\UT2 Aircraft"

Let me know what it or they are and I'll tell you to delete them if they are OK to delete.
