Recommended Posts

Hi, after the newest update yesterday 02/23/16, i get a message about FSUIPC4 not installed that some products may or may not work but i have FSUIPC4 installed and it says its working properly so i don't know what is happening. This happened with all previous FSFX every time there is a new update. Thanks.

Yeah because this affects the effects after the updates so when i go flying then some effects you see and some you don't.

If you go in VFXCentral > Preferences > Registry Editor, can you tell me witch simulator has FSUIPC unchecked?

No problem, same issue, same questions!

  1. Do you have those sims installed?
  2. If so, can you locate FSUIPC in their respective dll.xml files

    %AppData%\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2,

    %AppData%\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

  3. If FSUIPC isn't there, that means that FSUIPC isn't installed properly on your system. You can get it and reinstall it from this website: http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html

Regards,

Keven

In my case the effects work and I just ignore the warning. As FSUIPC is installed. Yes I have both sims installed.

So you are confirming that FSUIPC is present in every dll.xml?

FSX FSX SE P3Dv2

is it supposed to say FSUIPC dll.xml?

dll.xml should contain a section like the following one:

  <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>FSUIPC 4</Name>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <Path>Modules\FSUIPC4.dll</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
