This update only fixes a few very minor bugs.  It is mostly meant to sync with the new main download version 2.0.1.0.  That new main download has some minor frequency database updates.

Finally returned from the aircraft ferry trip.  What a journey from New York to Texas in a little plane that sometimes seemed to be going backwards with some of the strong headwinds.  Enjoyed every minute!

Just uploaded update 2.0.1.4.  It fixes most of the reported bugs in 2.0.1.3 and also uses a separate window to set Hot Keys and Joystick buttons to avoid the issue of these settings accidentally being changed.  Please give it a try and as always, report any bugs you find.

Thanks,

Dave

Update 2.0.1.5 is now available on the download page of the web site.  It has several enhancements.

  • An option to use SIM weather instead of real weather for FSX or P3D.  (Still working on figuring out if this can be done for X-Plane)
  • Print function for Grammar Helper to let you print the phrases
  • Listen function for Grammar Helper to pronounce the phrases for you.
  • Slightly enlarged SayIt font
  • Pause feature tweaked to improve ability to resume Pilot2ATC on a long flight before you reach the TOD or First STAR Waypoint
  • Fixed several reported bugs

Enjoy,

Dave

  • set ATC Sound Output device to something other than the default
  • set default folder for Approach Plates (TERP) PDFs and
  • set default folder for Flight Plans
  • Improves on some other features and fixes some bugs

Enjoy,

Dave

  • Fixes a problem with the Street Map that many have experienced.  Had to switch providers.

Thanks,

Just uploaded V2.0.1.9.  It fixes some bugs found in the new functions as well as a few other issues.  Also adds the option to export your flight plan directly to the SIM and even load it into the P3D or FSX Sim if you have them set up with SimConnect.

If you haven't already done it, I STRONGLY URGE you  to do the Language Recognition Training.  It should improve your ATC experience dramatically.

1) Go into Windows Control Panel - Speech

2) Do the standard Windows Speech recognition setup and TRAINING.  When asked if you want More Training the fisrt time, say YES.

3) Open Pilot2ATC and then Press the Grmr Help Button to the  right of the Flight Plan

4) In  the bottom right of that screen, press the Train button

5) When the Pilot2ATC Language Trainer opens, take all the training in the Full Training area.

See page 50 of the User Guide for instructions.

Thanks,

Dave

Just uploaded a HOT FIX.  V 2.0.1.10 adds a DLL to the install package that was missing from 2.0.1.9.

Sorry for the oversight.

Dave

V 2.0.1.11 has just been uploaded.  It fixes most of the reported bugs and adds the ability to have Pilot2ATC give the ATIS reports instead of relying on the SIM.  These reports will be based on the WX source option you have chosen on the WX tab of Config.

As always, it also fixes most of the reported bugs.

Enjoy,

Dave

Update 2.0.1.12 is available on the web site.  It fixes some bugs and also adds the ability to Edit/Add/Delete ATC Controllers at any airport.  Be sure to read the User's guide and BE PATIENT.  This feature works directly with the database and can take time when saving.

Enjoy,

Dave
