Can anyone recommend a decent CYYZ airport add-on? For some obscure reason, all I seem to be seeing in my FSX-SE default CYYZ is detached jetways and not affixed to a terminal building.

fsx_cyyz_rs.zip  In the Flightsim File Library.  Is your scenery complexity slider at max?

I just check my CYYZ default, and all jetways are attached to terminal buildings.

You always come up trumps, with your positive answers and tips. Thanks. Just checking now. Complexity was set to 'dense'. Sliding it over now. Has made no difference as per screenshotCYYZ.jpg

Yeah, I contemplated that as I have a few of their stuff, which I agree is pretty good, but with the £ taking a hammering last few days v the $ and €, I think I'll have to wait for the rates to improve.

It looks like you have MyTraffic in there.. Be sure to remove their airport file for CYYZ to remove conflicts with Ray Smiths version.

Pre-empting that somebody would suggest that, I in fact did remove the MyTraffic bgl. Ray Smith's version? What/which is that? I thought I just had the default FSX-SE CYYZ. I don't ever recall installing Ray Smith's

The Ray Smith version is the one I suggested in the Flightsim library.

Aah, I failed to notice that, charliearon.

Heading there right now. Thanks.

EDIT:Just downloading.

Installed that Ray Smith version, still no difference as can be seen belowStillNoTerminalBuildingsCYYZ.jpg

And doing a Top Down View shows some Terminal Buildings not at all the jetways. Weird.

Maybe autogen needs to be maxed??  Here are my CYYZ Toronto-Pearson default airport shots.

Here is a top down view of CYYZ.

If you're using MyTraffic6 or perhaps another traffic add-on, they often include a huge library of AFCAD/ADE files.  This looks like a misplaced exclusion in an AFCAD, or possibly a problem with multiple AFCADs active on CYYZ.

If it's MyTraffic, there's a scenery folder in the MyTraffic installation directory.  Disable the CYYZ file(s) (i.e. CYYZ_BR2.bgl) by adding .off to the end of the file name and that should get your default airport back.

You can get scruffyduck's airport scanner (Google it) and use it to look for multiple AFCADs as well.

Thanks, Bob. If you look at the 5 posts down beginning of this thread, that was the first place I went into and re-named the MyTraffic bgls for CYYZ to *.bak. I was hoping that would make the difference, but it clearly hasn't. No big deal. I'll just wait for the exchange rate to hike up before making the FlyTampa choice.

The only reason I wanted the CYYZ to function properly was coz in 2014 I made a Dash8 Q400 Air Canada flight from Newark to CYYZ. I just wanted to replicate that flight with the Majestic Dash8 Q400.

I think even with FT CYYZ you may have issues.. There is obviously some file(s) that's causing that issue in your sim somewhere. Do you have GSX by any chance?

Any other airports in that general vicinity of CYYZ that do the same thing or is it just CYYZ?

Not really looked beyond CYYZ.

Yes, I do have GSX and am aware that it references the MT bgls, but I have taken out any references to CYYZ in MT.
