fsx-ms Scenery Problem

Hello All, 

 

Recently, I installed Playsims Publishing's 'Ultimate Canary Islands Airports' (Gold Edition) scenery add-on for FSX. 

 

After the installation had completed, I loaded a flight at GCTS and there was no sign of the add-on scenery, just the standard default FSX scenery. 

 

Any help as to why this has happened would be most appreciated.

Did you add it to the scenery in FSX?

Go to your FSX/Settings/Scenery Library and check to see if it's listed at the top with check marks. 

 

Hit OK to exit and the Scenery should build from there.

Thank you, I will try that. 

 

It did do a configuration thing when I started up FSX after installing the scenery. Is there something else to do to effectively activate the scenery?

If it's listed, then you have other problems. If it's not listed click "ADD" and navigate to the folder (normally in addons) that the scenery is in, click on folder then OK, that should add the scenery and rebuild the database, don't forget to run makerunways.
