Grand Caravan cold and dark?

Simple question and I am surprised at the lack of information I can find on this question. I've spent about half an hour without any success. So the darn product is sold as being able to start in cold and dark, yet I have seen nowhere in any option that allows me to do so. Can anyone offer any advice on this. Cheers.

Press Shift+8 (I think).  That should bring up a popup menu allowing you to set the aircraft's state.

A quick search led me to an old avsim post (http://www.avsim.com/topic/438531-cold-and-dark/) where chaotic beauty says to try Shift+5. Just go through Shift+1-9 and the menu should pop up with one of those.

Hmm, yup, there is a pop up with options, but it doesn't include cold and start option.
