Interested but some question.

Recommended Posts

Hi thatnk's fro release this tool I have some info to ask.

One of negative when doing shared cockpit is to connect to your buddy, lot's of trouble with router port forwarding etc.

On the flightsimstore it's write FSX and P3D via future update that is mean for now, only fsx and steam works.

How much time will it need to do p3d compatibility because as you are aware, many hardcore simmer are already jumped on Lockheed platform for OMM trouble?

Connect to the buddy is it easy and straight forward or you have to deal with many nightmare like router firewall anti virus ect?

There will be possibility to sync between different platform FSX-P3D?

When you said sync, what exactly on the two platform is shared?

Do we have to load the same flightplan or just one load and the other just sync ?

If both of us use active sky next is it shared?

If there is some difference between scenery could be a problem ?

When connect to vatsim and use vpilot shall we use the method as the example below?

Pilot: Connect as JBU123 in normal mode.
Co-pilot: Connect as JBU123A in observer mode.

I hope that this tool will create a lot of enthusiastic crew and become popular, at PMDG they didn't give too much emphasis on shared cockpit and state that it wasn't a popular wish to invest time and money.

Hi,

If you're familiar with setting up the free edition then it should be a breeze.

1: Connect to the buddy is it easy and straight forward or you have to deal with many nightmare like router firewall anti virus ect? We can assist with firewall/router setup if required. You may want to try the free edition first. :)

2: There will be possibility to sync between different platform FSX-P3D? Maybe, will know after p3d development has started.

3: When you said sync, what exactly on the two platform is shared? Two entire aircrafts and everything required to fly them.

4: Do we have to load the same flightplan or just one load and the other just sync ? Both need the same flight plan. There will be a flight plan retrieval feature added to the first major update.

5: If both of us use active sky next is it shared? No. We do provide a method for weather developers to sync their software using our SDK. For now just manually update the weather on both simulators.

6: If there is some difference between scenery could be a problem ? Nope. Should be fine.

7: When connect to vatsim and use vpilot shall we use the method as the example below? Yup, just follow any basic ivao/vatsim multi-crew tutorials.

Pilot: Connect as JBU123 in normal mode.
Co-pilot: Connect as JBU123A in observer mode.

Thank's for your answer, I really hope that it will not take a while to go on P3D they are not opposite platform.

.

So this is FSX only at the moment? P3D has started development though? We are at v3.2 and I use it over FSX now.
