Any problems w/ installing P3D 2.3 and 3.1 on the same drive?

Without getting into the why questions what's the answer?

The answer is no.

 

2.x and 3.x are separate installations. Each has its own installation folder, configuration files and registry settings. They are designed to be installed independently of each other, without sharing any files or other data that could cause conflicts.

The answer is no problem at all. I have both P3D versions 2.5 and 3.1 on one drive.

 

Why?? I have all my ORBX stuff installed on 2.5 so I don't have to wait for v3.1 installers to be released. I have most of my GA planes also installed in v2.5. I have GEX/UTX installed in v3.1 as well as most of my airliners. Working great for me. The ASN installation works for both also.

 

Since Nick Needham and John Venema don't seem to be drinking buddies yet I thought it best to keep their software separated.
