Prepar3D v3.2 is out !

Recommended Posts

Doubt that it's true, but keep my fingers crossed anyway

Well just a quick look need to look into it deeper you need it but not as much I tried 2x in NI and 2x in P3D and I am not seeing much of a difference so thats a step in the right direction - need to do some more tests

This was with Carenado best for testing - if you never leave the VC then yes you can do without NI its looks great inside but I spend a lot of time outside

Chris, just to confirm...no more issues now with NE in 3.2?  I've been wanting to buy your products for the past couple months now but have been waiting til whatever issue was happening to get resolved.  Seems to me it is now, right?  So once ASN is ready, I will make the upgrade and do some night flying with NE!!

Hi Kevin,

i assure you all issues were ironed out in 3.2 as far as NE goes,

we've been working closely (myself included) with LM Dev team to resolve these issues;

and will continue our joined effort to deliver as real as a night environment can get,

this area was somewhat neglected over the years; with both teams efforts to improving night flights;

i believe we will (we already do :)) the best night experience one can get in P3D,

there is still allot to come from us when it comes to night time environment; we haven’t said the last word just yet

hi Moe,

yes there are several options out there today; but there's only one original, that’s Night Environment!

we usually disable all third party lights when NE region is active.

so this is not a mix of several vendors; this is just NE on its own merits!

no diluted lights or disabled libraries or anything to just get it to work in a basic form, and NO SLIDE SHOW ever!!!

Thanks Chriss.

Guess i have to Test Danmark or sweden if present with my UTX roads

Thanks, Chris!  Sounds great!!! As I said a few posts up, just waiting for ASN(Can't fly without that) and then I'll be purchasing.  Can't wait to have a real night flying experience!!!!

Don't really understand some of these negative comments about V3.2 ... it's a free update, why not try it and come to your own conclusions?    Backup your existing P3D if concerned.  There have been numerous threads on better performance, better visuals, fixed bugs, etc. etc. but you'll need to dig deeper than what the "current thread" page displays.

It does baffle me at why some of you are extremely positive for another product that doesn't exist yet and has only posted two screenshots, yet a product that is here and now you don't want to update?  It's almost as if you don't want to see P3D improvements?  Very strange indeed.

Anyway, main reason for my post, looks like Virtuali (Umberto) has full support for V3.2 now, so GSX, FSDT, FB, etc. should all be good to go in P3D V3.2.

Cheers, Rob.

Agree, in V3.2 4X MSAA looks better than 8X MSAA in V3.1 ... shadows are MUCH improved also, very sharp/clear ... far fewer long frames even at extreme graphics settings with 150 add-ons in 4K.

Cheers, Rob.

Are you saying you like it ? - I went back to NI 4SGSS - but am going to try your settings

Heads up - read this in LM forums

Reverted default scenario weather to Fair Weather from Cold Fronts to prevent wind from pushing aircraft to the right

So all you need to do is set a fair weather in start up screen and and hit save give it a name - I called it default and then save it now will retain fair weather

Rob well said - spot on

After one hour flying I can only see improvements.

But it's difficult to talk about smoothness or impact on fps so far, ASN, ORBX and GTN being disabled for the moment.

The only glitch is with EZCA (what a surprise!)

Some effects seem to be broken and it's impossible now to pan using EZCA and my joystick.

It's like frozen.

Any help would be very much appreciated, this software is giving me hiccups for years but difficult to fly without!

Thanks.

Yes Richard, I really do.

Same settings few hours (and a version) ago was just looking like a bad Picasso.

I really believe there is a huge improvement on AA with this version.

More tests to come! ;-)

Awesome Dave

I dont have ezca loaded - using simplecam suits my needs much easier to setup views - only thin I miss from ezca is that great feeling of floating - accu-feel helps but not the same

I sincerely barely understand how people can complain.

LOL! Oh come now David - you've been around the block a few times - SOME people will always complain, no matter what.

Enjoy!
