P3Dv3.2 : worked fine 2 times , now loading issue ...

Recommended Posts

Disable the addon manager in the dll.xml. That fixed the issue for me.

Here my dll.xml :

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>

<SimBase.Document Type="AceXML" version="3,0" id="dll">

    <Descr>AceXML Document</Descr>

    <Filename>dll.xml</Filename>

  <Launch.Addon>

    <Name>SODE Animation Module</Name>

    <Disabled>False</Disabled>

    <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>

    <Path>D:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Sode\SimObjectAnimationModule.dll</Path>

  </Launch.Addon>

</SimBase.Document>

Here my exe.xml :

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>

<SimBase.Document Type="AceXML" version="3,0" id="exe">

<Descr>AceXML Document</Descr>

<Filename>exe.xml</Filename>

  <Launch.Addon>

    <Name>SODE</Name>

    <Disabled>False</Disabled>

    <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>

    <Path>D:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\SODE\SimObjectDisplayEngine.exe</Path>

  </Launch.Addon>

</SimBase.Document>

I don't use SODE as I have no addon that run it. Just move both dll and exe to your desktop and try starting P3D

I downloaded the latest version and P3Dv3.2 is loading again...

Because there is a fix with nightlighting I want to do a flight with my Night Environment scenery.

Already I have made HDR night settings...

Thanks Jim. Will try that.

I only wonder why P3Dv3.2 would work correctly 2 times and then has an issue and the pc has to be rebooted..

My understanding is the fsuipc is not fully compatible.  So far for me it is active in my dll.xml and loading just great but many here have stated it is not compatible and needs to be updated by Pete.  It's an easy thing to check out.

from my test with FSUIPC it complain that the version being installed into is newer bla bla...

but everything worked fine regardless; so id suggest to go ahead and install the latest build;

expect things to be just fine accept for that little complaint from the installer,
