not as long as one might think Karan

India is not too far!!! as well as many new and unexpected area coverage coming out soon,

we will not disappoint anyone who chooses to wait for what's cooking in our kitchen!

You always know the right things to say, Chris. You have my attention again so I shall keep a look out for all my regions to be updated to v1.71 as well as these 'unexpected area coverage' you speak of.

Hi Chris

sorry another quick question,I suppose I should really have put this on your own forum

Is it possible to have all the NE scenery on a different drive from P3d,my current setup already has a lot of normal scenery on it,so I thought about putting all night stuff on a different drive

would it be as simple as putting a copy of the p3d.exe file in the folder or would it be a bit more complicated?

Thanks

Guys , waiting a little bit will absolutely be worth it.

Don't spent you money on other nightlighting products...

You won't be using them again..

I purchased NE California and I am loving what they did. I thought I would miss the ORBX lighting but this is so much more realistic.

Quite right! For places that NE doesn't yet cover, stick with OrbX lights (assuming you use OrbX) which are also very good - just not as visible further out. I'm sure NE will soon be available in all areas.

N1G, great stuff, glad you took the plunge and are happy with it!

Can I ask a dumb question here.....why not use Orbx night lighting that comes with Global/Vector/LC and the regions ?

OrbX lighting is good but it only shows up within the LOD radius you set in the sim. So let's say you put it on maximum 6.5 miles - that is how far away you can see the lights. That is fine if you are pootling around in Piper Cub at a couple of thousand feet, but fly any higher and pretty soon you don't see any lights at all unless you take an outside view and look directly down.

NE displays lights in all directions for miles around. If I'm crossing the English Channel I can see London lit up 60 miles ahead of me. Much more satisfying!

OK very good description.  I most fly in daylight and maybe at dawn dusk so have not really noticed this as a problem.

In addition to what Stuart said, everyone might not have ORBX Global/Vector/LC and the regions. I, for instance, only use Global from ORBX so NE plays a major role in my sim.
