March 13, 201610 yr Does anyone know where I can find a good T tailed Piper Navajo with a realistic 2d panel for either FS9 or FSX? Someone told me there was one by I-Fox but I can't find it.Thanks, Bob.
March 13, 201610 yr T-tailed Navajo would be a Piper PA-42 Cheyenne III or IV. FSD made one for FS9, don't know how it would work or even if it would work in FSX. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

March 15, 201610 yr There's this one: http://www.fsd-international.com/Hangar/Cheyenne/ http://www.fsd-international.com/Hangar/Cheyenne/C400_screenshots.htm I've avoided it because the VC graphics don't look great. If you're into 2D panels, though, it might do the trick, and it's < $15. I'm a big fan of the Digital Aviation Cheyenne: http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd80!0,4551795980,10283_1 which isn't a T-tail, but does have good 2D panels in addition to a superb VC. It's also very frame-rate-friendly.

March 15, 201610 yr Hi Bob, While I know it's not a T tail and Payware - the DA Piper Cheyenne mentioned above is one of the best planes ever produced for FS and probably the best choice given your criteria... The 2D panels are a work of art and intelligently thought out - flew with them for years... Works in FS9, FSX, and P3D (P3D not officially supported)... If you have any more questions on it - I'm very familiar with the aircraft... Best of luck... Some recent shots I posted from P3D: http://www.avsim.com/topic/483572-p3dv31-pa31-kbdr-to-kbhb-down-easter/ Regards, Scott

The http://www.aerosoft....hop.cgi?showd80!0,4551795980,10283_1 link above does not work for me. I'll look at the DA Piper Cheyenn on another site. I appreciate the info. Your screenshots look good great. Bob. The review t http://www.avsim.com/pages/0208/CheyenneX/CheyenneX.htm says there is only a left wing light? Why is this and has it been fixed since the review?
March 15, 201610 yr Hi Bob, Try this link: http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd80!0,4551795980,10283_1 As for the left wing light - maybe there was some confusion - I believe the taxi and landing lights are on the gear - there are recognition lights in the front of the tip tanks on both sides - there is a light that only shines on the left wing and that's just for ice detection in bad weather and I would assume it's prototypical... You sounded like you have very specific intentions for wanting this plane - keep in mind this plane is modeled as it was in the 80's or so - it doesn't have a moving map GPS it uses a Trimble GPS that drives your standard six pack instruments... I've swapped that out with the RXP GNS430W in FS9 and now the GTN650 in P3D both of which are an additional expense and configuration work... You mentioned freeware - so I just wanted to be clear... It's difficult to find freeware aircraft on par with payware... Hope this helps... Regards, Scott
