March 13, 201610 yr Author Dave, departing from LOWW and should contact center at 124.2 (or 124.5?). But this was the second time I got this unhandled exception departing from LOWW. Last time I should change to Center on 127.52 so I assumed the same frequency and was wondering about 124.xx but unfortunately with the same result. I will check it on another airport. Buy the way ... it was difficult to get the version 1.4 running because the setup doesn't check the system requirements well. The announced problems with voice recognition language settings are awaited. But after I fixed these problems I got more errors because there was no SQL / localDB installed. The event viewer and displayed error messages are "False friends" and google set me on many wrong tracks (permissions, remote access, host adress, access method and much more). It tooks many hours to finally find the solution that only the missed installation of SQLExpress/localDB causes these lot of errors. After that the installation of version 2 was easy. Maybe you better add the localDB in the manual onto the system requirements? Regards Helge
March 13, 201610 yr I would just like to report a similar problem when flying from EGNT to EGPH (UK) when told to contact center, I dial in the frequency, chose the sayit phrase to report current altitude and an unhandled exception occurs when pressing the sayit button. This has happened both times I have tried this flight since updating to 2009. I have no other log info on this I am afraid, nor the frequencies used. John Anderson

March 14, 201610 yr Thanks, Dave, 20010 stopped that error. Another thing, which doesn't seem to affect anything else, is that after I have been given clearance to takeoff, the yellow text appears with the ~ in front of it, and I press the sayit button as normal to acknowledge the instruction..but this time the green text does not appear after the instruction has been repeated. The green text always appears in every other case when an instruction is repeated. I am not sure whether to keep "saying it" hoping the green text will pop-up or just assume all is ok! March 14, 201610 yr Author Hello John, on my 2.0.0.10 testflight (today posting > http://www.avsim.com/topic/485168-20010-eddmlowi-sayit/) I also had sometimes the "problem" that the Sayit readbacks doesn't appear on screen in green. But especially not after the take-off cleareance - this readback comes down in green. Everything okay. It should helpful for Dave to know the airport/FPL route to sort out if that is a random or reproducible problem at the same situation. Regards Helge
March 14, 201610 yr Commercial Member John, Just go on assuming all is OK. The few readbacks that trigger an action are working correctly. I will eventually get around to correcting the Grammar so that all SayIt phrases are recognized, but in the mean time, just ignore it when a readback doesn't get recognized. Thanks, Dave
