As promised, although a little late. This is where I'm at with Night Environment Florida:

Looks great Mike ! Very well done.

 

What density settings in NE do you use ( % ) ?

 

On my setup I am not getting the orange lights the deep orange color that you have.

I have Tess off but HDR on ( 0.30 - 3.00 - 0.80 ) to get a darker night.

Hi Gerard,

 

I have the following setup in P3D3.2.

 

1. My UHDTV's are set to "DYNAMIC" at night / "NATURAL" during the day - Set via TV remote "MENU/PICTURE" sub menu.

2. In P3D3.2 I have the following:

 

Brightness: 0.45

Bloom: 3.00

Saturation: 1.65

TESS: OFF

Hi.

 

I have now tried these settings and from what I can tell instantly - they do not work at all unless you are running an home cockpit  :wink:

 

The thing is, with that incredible amount of bloom (3.00), all panels and gauges (for instance in the NGX or PMDG777) become excessively bright and over-saturated. Again, not an issue if you are running home-cockpit and can fine-tune the brightness and intensity of your panels by yourself. 

 

Nevertheless, I was able to tune night conditions to make NE look more intense/bloomy, but nights in P3D continue to appear way to bright with "milky white" clouds. XP renders this far much better.
