December 2, 200520 yr Great airplane, but I still dislike the point of view in the cockpit. The view, TO ME, has always seemed to be a "crabbed" view. Others on this forum have disagreed with me on this, but I swear, everytime I fly it, I feel as though I'm going sideways down the runway.
December 2, 200520 yr I only bought her very late in her lifecycle, ie a few months ago, and I'd have to say she is one of the best little planes in my fleet, does the job and never complains......
December 3, 200520 yr I'm the same way Stan. It always seems like the nose is pointing a little to the right on approach. But it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who sees it that way - all this time I just thought it was old age :-) .Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. December 3, 200520 yr Doug,NO..it's not old age. I've been simming for over 14 years now, and I have over 162 planes in my stable. I'd love to spend more time in the 310, but sorry, it does look weird from the cockpit and it affects me when I take off and land. I usually get no acknowledgement of this from others. You're probably among the first to agree with me.I'd wish Dreamfleet would show me how to adjust the panel config so that I can perceive the panel straight toward the runway.
December 3, 200520 yr In regards to A/C crabbing I would very much also like solution to this as I have a few planes that I have this problem with, including the A36 which is my favorite A/C. It alway appears like I am landing with about a 30 degree crab to the right.Gary
