P3D ASUS GTX980 Display Driver Crashing

Recommended Posts

Hi all

This is driving me mad!

I keep getting this message

'Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.'

I've just this morning tried a fresh install of P3D V3, with no add ons bar PMDG 777 installed. and 2 hours in i get the same message

I've set my PhysX to CPU as suggested elsewhere, I've installed the latest drivers.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

Matt

Is it a new card or did the problem just start if you've had it for a while?

Relatively new problem. Since transferring from FSX SE to P3D v3. It worked fine for a while. Sometimes it's ok, but more often than not now it crashes to desktop. This morning I got 2-3 hours into a flight. Yesterday I got about 5 mins after take off and it crashed. Sometimes it appears to be when I change view or click something, other times completely random.
