First impression: Rather like Tallinn than like Sheremetyevo.

Only problem I recognize after a short visit: My graphic card's problem with mipped textures.

P.S. Those who use the SBAI Mi-8 package with heliports may experience an altitude anomaly at the apron. Setting the LUK1 heliport to the altitude of DD's airport solves that.

Moldova only crossed my radar because I installed some AI from there for UUDD.

I confess I had to go to Google to find it.  :ph34r:

I suppose the developers do what's in their back yard, but really: NZAA deserves some attention in FS9!

Although there might be good reason: while trying to find where Moldova is, I read a little about it.

It has the most dreadful history of bloodshed and deprivation, and is the poorest country in Europe, I discover.

Flightsimming is educational, y'see... also, I discovered where Transylvania is/was: right next door!

No problem WingZ, didn't feel so. Thought myself that I was a little bit egoistic on that, sorry.

 

It's just that Moldova is one of these countries that perhaps somehow feel a little more interesting for us Easterners than for other people after the Soviet Union broke into parts. Chisinau is, for instance, a nice stopover on the way from Central Europe to Tbilisi or Yerevan.

Just a heads-up: With AES 2.42, the scenery is AES-supported now!

Just done a test flight to LUKK. First impressions are that this is fantastic scenery! I love it!

 

It will feature heavily in my next vid. :smile:

I will be parking at the cargo apron which has the option of AES push to park which I will be utilising. Hopefully I will get something sensible as AES STILL  does not have the option of choosing which truck to use.!  :angry:

 

The LUKK afcad has no approaches or waypoints. I should be able to upload one here with all waypoints and approaches in time.
