GTN750 for Phenom 300

Recommended Posts

Hi Peter,

Like you I was a bit skeptical about the GTN series.  Did my due diligence and researched it as much as possible, then tried the GTN (Bert linked to above)... just a few minutes and I was sold.  So easy to learn and use.  Outstanding feature set.  Great graphics.  After owning it for 3 months I've come to rely on it for all my navigation needs.  Don't need the sim flight planner, and only use Plan-G now to flesh-out new ideas of where I'd like to fly.  Now when considering any new aircraft purchase the GTN must be an available add-on for the aircraft (just took advantage of the current Milviz sale to buy the MD 350F... but bought it only because the GTN series were added to the helicopter by Milviz.  And install in the panel was easy).

Hi Bert,

If you want a demo version, download a copy of the free Garmin GTN trainer.

thanks for the suggestion. I did that and was very impressed by the product. I then made

more inquiries at Flight1. The fact that you cannot import or export flight plans

is my main problem. It effectively means that I would have to create two flight

plans to be able to use the GTN 750 with my favorite addons (FSCaptain, Aivlasoft EFB, Vatsim, Pro-ATC)

I guess it simply isn't for me.

Peter
