Carendo C90 Kingair PLEASE a detailed FMC and Proline Manual

Recommended Posts

It is clear from my experience and the comments of others that Carenado have NOT replicated the Proline series and the FMC,  Instead they have adjusted it, I assume, to make an easier version of the real one.  However, it has incomprehensible VNAV path characterisitics,   I am not concerned that Computer based management is different from the original, but it does mean that Carenado owes us a manual that fully explains their version of Proline.  After all we fly the sim aircraft, not the real one, so we look for guidance how to handle the equipment in the psuedo vehicle that we buy and fly.

Carenado has a reputation for building good models and providing full explanation.  The C90 is very much the exception.

I couldn't agree with you more. The system is really lacking in programing. I have yet to complete a flight with this thing. I usually get frustrated and just switch back to ES Citation X or the Old C-90 so I can manually navigate. I feel if a developer is going to make a navigation simulation it should at least function. The not working part is what is driving me crazy. I keep thinking they will put more work into the product but to date they haven't. They have awesome graphics but the system is a killer! I was waiting on the 500 as it doesn't have glass. I thought maybe it would be a decent flight model. Now I see another xplane model is on the books. Which I don't really understand. I don't feel x-plane has the market share as large as FSX and P3D. Just my observation. A written manual explaining the half system would be nice.

Manual will be on to nothing ... because carenado proline systems are not good/accuracy

"Carenado has a reputation for building good models" - after visual side .. no after systems side .. unfortunately

I must use perfect GTN 750 mods for all my carenado airplanes (g1000 the same story) .. I am extremely happy

But it is sad that, we can't normally use the avionics which is part of the aircraft.

I recommend to wait on B350i from MILVIZ their proline will be perfect

Have the same problem.  The manual is very sparse.

Maybe getting a bit creaky, but cannot see how to save a flight plan .  There does not seem to be a hold facility,.

For flying IFR this is needed.

PLEASE consider an up date and can any one help with the above.
