A Little Dusk Canyon Flying In The Wasatch Range

Recommended Posts

Salt Lake City has a secondary airport everyone simply calls "Salt Lake #2." Depart north from it under VFR conditions and make a right turn to the East, and you can follow Little Cottonwood Canyon into the heart of the Wasatch range. Make a right at Alta, head over the top to Sundance on the backside of Mt. Timpanogos, and from there it's a base-to-final for the approach over Deer Creek Reservoir to Heber Valley airport. Mind the hill on final. It's particular pretty at dusk.

I'm still getting used to taking screenies, but I think these turned out ok.
