UT2 and Power Pack for P3D (Adding Aircraft)

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, back in FSX I used Power Pack for Ultimate Traffic II to add all the missing UPS and FEDEX flights, since UT2 schedules never included cargo ops. With FSDT's KMEM on the horizon and finding out that they do not plan to offer static AI, it will be necessary to add these back into the program.

My question is, does power pack work with Win 10 and P3D? I already have UT2 installed and that works fine but have yet to try this. Let me know anyone who has tried it thanks!

Yes you can - but I have no experience with Power Pack

You could always skip the Powerpack and just add FedEx, UPS and many more to your sim if you wanted. The zip files from AIG will provide you with links to the downloads for both model and repaint if needed (you will need them anyways if using the Powerpack) and then you use AIFP to compile the plans. Using AIFP is easier imo than importing with the Powerpack anyways.

AIFP can be found here near the bottom left http://stuff4fs.com/newpage.asp?Folder=AIFP

FedEx is in here among MANY others

UPS from early 2014

A bit daunting at first, but then so is using the Powerpack  . The rewards are worth it though, accurate good looking traffic.

UT2 and regular bgl traffic do play nicely together.

Sure it's no FSDT KMEM, but good traffic gives it life.

Same thing in Hong Kong!

Thank you Richard. Wow Dave, never knew there were other options. So this seems like a more thorough coverage, and also seems like I should be able to swap all my AAL carriers to the latest livery this way. Or at least have a mixture. Is there a tutorial or guide I am just getting to downloading it now.

Swapping out AAL to use their new livery is certainly possible as well. But then while you are at it, you can use current plans as well then (merged with US AIrways).

You can get those here.

Within each AIG flightplan file is an aifp.cfg (you can open and view the .cfg file using notepad etc) that has links to get the required repaint or even model. AIFP as linked above will even download and install each one for you if you wanted, it's just a matter or learning how to use AIFP.

It's one of those things that you get back what you put into it.
