Problem entering PMDG website

Recommended Posts

Dear Sirs,

I used to enter your site with no problem until last week.

When I try to enter your site I get a notice that the page cannot be diplayed.

It says there is a network problem. I am attaching the notice with the error.

I have 4 computers at home on the same network and only my comuter gives

this error. This is really strange. There is no problem with the network at home...

I hope you will be able to write me how to solve this problem.

Thank you very much and happpy easter.

Best regards,

Zeev Buck

There is no problem with the network at home...
There is no problem with the website either at 1155Z. I just accessed it. Maybe you have a different browser, AV. or firewall on the computer you are using compared to the other three computers.

Go to C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\ and find a file called "hosts." Open it and paste what it says here in the forum, please.

The information is here:

# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each

# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one

Houston, we have a problem....

Zeev, someone is trying to get you away from PMDG - wife's, with good network knowledge, are known to create this kind of ... loopbacks

Basically, whenever you try to access PMDG's web site, you're re-directed to your own machine... Or.... are you Robert ??????

Stuff like this is added in when users install our software from...well...sources other than us and our licensed partners. Any idea why this is in your hosts file?

For the record, I do see that you have valid orders from us (thank you for including your name in your initial post, per forum rule). I'm just curious as to how that got in there.

oky i dont know why this is in my hosts file.

Delete the lines from the file and save.

...and don't install whatever you installed that put that in there. It doesn't just appear there.

Greetings,
The problem entering to the site, I was able to solve with your help, thank you.

After that I could enter the site and bought B737-800 / 900. That I planned to buy some time.
I received confirmation about buying a product code to activate the plane, I installed the plane and put the code and jumped on the error message (attached image)
What is the problem now?

This is most likely due to the same software that added that trash into your HOSTS file. Please submit a ticket at the link in my signature.
