Autopilot

Recommended Posts

Does this aircraft use the same old-type autopilot as

the Carenado Navajo ?

No, it's using a S-TEC 55, located behind the throttle quadrant (which is why you can't see it in many of the screen pics). It's a modern generation autopilot, and there's an annunciator for it built into the panel, right in front of the yoke.  It's a basic version though, without additional options such as alt pre-selection.

I seem to remember that you can select altitudes via the ALT button and the left knob on the left Garmin screen. You got to start dialing quickly after pressing the ALT button though.
