TAG-Myrtle Beach KMYR (TAG= The Airport Guys)

Recommended Posts

I like it .. a lot!

...and this was just a quick and dirty pic, on my way to the numbers...this picture does the total airport no justice whatsoever....the PAPI have a haze, glow, and fire...as you descend...ethereal...

...the whole city has a great and life-like feel as you do touch and go's...and I'm using U.T.'s 4D lighting, in DX9 mode here..because I am waiting for one texture to be given me, by the Dev's...to allow me to use in DX10...mode.etc.  It looks fabulous in DX9!

It is really nice.  Just needs some AI or static planes on the GA side.  9500 ft. runway, nice regional to fly into.

Gregg, you didn't get this working in FS9, by any chance did you?

Sure does Scott!  I have it installed in FSX/DX9/10, P3D v2.4, and P3D v3.2.3....and it ROCKS. I think that I am going to get their other offering as well...I LIKE these guys!

There is a v2.0 that is going to be loaded...and will be announced when available.  It will be a FREE upgrade to anybody that has v1.0 (this one), so there's no need to wait for it...

Thanks Ses - after admiring your screenshots for years - LOL - I'll take you word for it... Since I can't get FS9 performance out of my machine at class B's with AI in P3D - I'm focusing on the smaller regionals... I remember watching this guys development on FSDeveloper but I was still entrenched in FS9 at the time...

Have a nice weekend!

Regards,

Scott

Wow, that'd be nice.  I do have a couple of things I'd love to see in it.

  • Springmaid Pier
  • Fix the trees at the mall for the right season
  • Dirty up the GA ramp some and give it lines.
  • A 60cm texture around the airport (to fix a bug)

I'd ask for Broadway at the Beach but...heh...that'd be much.   They already did a really nice job on that Hotel off departure end.  They get it done they should head right up to Wilmington.

I love regionals.  I can fly there GA or commercial.  Double win.
