Err - that scenery was released back in 2010 - so it's not really news.

Mitch, just keep posting freeware finds of this kind! I for one appreciate it. There are so many superb freeware offerings that no one can possibly keep track of all of them! Some of my favorite photoreals in Europe, ORBX quality: http://lhsimulations.com/freeware_zone/ & more here: http://www.freewarescenery.com/fs2004/hungary.html

If you don't know http://www.freewarescenery.com it's a site that has collected a lot of links to freeware scenery, organised by countries! The first stop to check for scenery!

Be sure to give a "head's up" whenever they finish Detroit KDTW.  I've fallen asleep a LONG time waiting for it!

If there is a better freeware (or payware?) airport for FS9 than the above, please let us know.  I'm amazed how well done it is.

Hi Sascha...so, you didn't know about this gem either?   Glad to post.  I actually was reading some reviews of Imaginesim KATL, this morning, and the reviewer made mention of this dev, and reference in comparison to this dev's KPHL and such devs as Imaginesim, Aerosoft, etc.

I highlighted the reference, and right-click Googled it.  The rest is history. I now have it across FS9, FSXDX10, P3D v2.4, and P3D v3.2.3

Thanks for your above links...am just about to sip some coffee and go check them out.  Thanks, again, Sascha,,for your dev efforts. Frankly, EVO2015/16 made FS9 a equal-use time share across all my platforms, for I do fly them all equally.

Post Edit:  Sascha...yeppers...sure didn't know about these either. Thanks!   Ok...can there possibly be another hard drive acquisition later this year...yeah..probably so...with four active flight simulators on the system....lol.  Yeah...probably so....

Mitch

There's actually a pinned topic in this forum called

The Best Freeware Airports and Scenery for FS9

and if you search it you will find KPHL referenced four times...

But topics like this throw up discussion which is great!

Sascha I thought I had all the Hungarian sceneries of note, but flipping through your list I see there's a bunch of photoreals I have missed.

So thanks for that, it's a tough call between the Hungarian and Czech scenery makers

Both are absolutely fantastic.

Take your time to look at all the sceneries:A click onto the line "dalsich 6" will bring you the next six sceneries, and between them you will find very good ones for FS9.

I remember them saying Detroit will be for FS9. I wonder if that is still happening?

I've been close to the devs and a SunSkyJet Beta Tester for many years, and I'm confident their Detroit scenery has only been for FSX.

I've fallen asleep a LONG time waiting for it!

Yeah, those darned freeware developers!  They never deliver when we want something.  I for one want a refund.

The Detroit scenery is on hold due to unforeseen circumstances... and I think a lack of appreciation and a little disrespect towards the dev team.

Best wishes to all.

I'm confident that the scenery was originally announced to include FS2004

Your back-sided slam of any comment about freeware is unwarranted.  It does not become you.  It has taken a Loonnngggg time since announcing .... freeware or not.

Shaz et. al have always been held in the highest regard by anyone familiar with FS2004 scenery.  I don't know where you get the "disrespect" part.

All in all, I reject your reality and hope you can stay away from your heavily-biased comments ..... and stick to the reality of facts.
