VFXCentral unknown error (Receive Failure)

Hi, i have installed VFXCentral and tried to log in but when i hit enter to log in a message pops up saying "unknown error (Receive Failure)". I can't understand what the problem is! If anybody has the same problem and has figured out how to fix it please do let me know. I will appreciate it!
