Received This Error After CTD

Recommended Posts

Can anyone let me know what my issue would be, had an CTD on approach the other day (been having some problems of late with a lot of CTD on every flight).  My system is I7 4790K no OC, GTX 970 and 8gb of ram.

I am thinking I might have an issue with my ram, might think about upgrading to 16GB as well.  Thanks for any help.

Is that a CTD or a Blue Screen?

The report says it's a blue screen.

It certainly is not an OOM. Why put OOM in a topic title about a CTD related question?

Sorry yes it was a blue screen. Right before that I did get a ctd.

Then you should post the report for the ctd instead, not the blue screen.

But I do think it may be a RAM issue.

Bad overclock settings or temperature issues inside the hood?

Best regards, Luís

Anthony.  Have you made any big changes to your set-up?

Its a process of elimination really.

I would start by Updating or Reinstalling your Nivida Drivers,  Only takes a few minutes.    http://www.avsim.com/topic/478270-uninstalling-nvidia-graphics-driver/

Stat there anyway, and at least you can tick that off your check list

Make sure you tick the box to  Perform a clean Installation

No overclocking has been done, stock speed.

I will try with new drivers, I have had the original one that has been working for the past 1.5 years, this issue has come up within the past two months with no new install of addons or changes to my cpu, at least that I am aware off.

Been having problems at the start of flights that my FPS start at 30 and then drop to under 5 with finally having a CTD.  I have dialed back a lot of my settings as well.

I am hoping its just a replace of the ram but not sure.

Is there a way to get a report when I have a CTD, most every time I just have a CTD with no error report.  When I started this post this was the first time I received an error report with a blue screen.

You had a BSOD which is hardware related.  See page 9 of the AVSIM CTD Guide for downloads and instructions (link in my signature).
