Key press for NGX autopilot

Recommended Posts

I have an Open Cockpits 737 yoke that has an autopilot off button.  However, when it is pressed in PMDG NGX (P3D) nothing happens and the autopilot remains engaged.  I have it set in the FSUIPC but as I said, nothing happens when it is pressed.  Is there anything that can be done here?  Any ideas at all, please?

I have it set in the FSUIPC but as I said

Set a key press instead of a direct button.

In other words, have FSUIPC send CTRL + SHIFT + 1, as an example, and then set the NGX to listen for that same key sequence in the FMC via MENU > PMDG SETUP > KEY COMMANDS.

Also: full names in the forum please - first and last.

Success - thank you!  Father Dane (BTW - my user name IS my name)

Look at Kyle Rodgers post who answered your question. That is where the first and last name should be. Set it up so that is done automatically. Try this - click on your user name in upper right corner, click on My Profile, click on Edit My Profile, click on Signature, in Edit Signature enter your first and last name, click save and your name will be on all of your posts.

Got it.  Thank you for the assist.  I made the signature change (nothing fancy) so let's see if it works now.

Cheers

Works. Thanks!

...and welcome to the forum!
