Animation LOW FPS

Recommended Posts

So here is a little video about problem

The problem is, that overall FPS in VC is 40-50. Even on high attitudes there is numbers like 60-70 FPS.

But. The problem is, that I don't feel this FPS when move yoke. It feels like Yoke has only 10-15 fps. It's not smooth like in other aircrafts I have.

Also spoilers, flaps, gear animation have the same problem.

I tried to find topics about that, but every topic I found, cant solve my problem. So guys, if you know what to do, help me. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.  Please note that forum rules require full names on all posts.

I'm not going to watch a 2 min video when it takes 10 sec to read problem description.  I did look at the first 15 sec to see your yokes move through pitch and they looked pretty normal to me.

To be honest, I move the yokes down out of the way and never pay attention to them and in the 777 they don't move at all when stored.

If this is a NGX only problem it belongs in the 737 Subforum.

Welcome to the forum. Being that the NGX is around 5 yrs old, the animations may not exactly reflect new standards pmdg now uses to model animations. That being said, what you see is normal. I would agree with you that the animations lack a certain fluidity aboit them. However, dont let it bother you. Have fun flying! Once again, welcome!

I'll +1 what Matt stated.  You have to understand that with every new release of an aircraft by PMDG, there is something they improve on.  If the only thing you have an issue with is the smoothness of the yoke, then consider yourself lucky.  If you step back and look at the overall performance of such a complex aircraft, PMDG did well.  If it's any consolation, commend PMDG for bringing back the 747, updated and with improved technologies.  I for one cannot wait to have that in my hangar.
