Just Flight 757 Freemium

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure how long it has been available, but I just discovered it last night.

Just Flight is offering a 'fairly' decent Boeing 757-200 at no cost.  It comes with a British Airways livery and Rolls-Royce engines, but other liveries and engine variations can be purchased if you so desire.  If not, then you still have yourself a free flyer.

It's not on the level of the QualityWings 757, but it is an inexpensive introduction for someone wanting to step up from, or an alternative to the default 737.

Agreed.  I got this a couple of years ago and it was a very adequate flight model for someone getting in to jets for the first time.  Their F-Lite series of aircraft are fairly good for beginners.  Of course, I have since moved on from these in to flight models that require a lot of extra work, like setting up the FMC, procedures and checklists.

Another point to add though is that you can install this into FSX and P3D v3. :)

As Yashigashi wrote: It is available for a couple of years.

I downloaded it in 2011 (and at some point bought one of the livery packs that contained an Air Berlin livery) and had a bit fun with it.

It is very frame-rate friendly (compared to the iFly 737NG)

Wow, I forgot it's been out that long.  I was wrong, I've had it for as long as it's been out.  I didn't go after the extra liveries though.  I agree the performance and frames is very adequate.  You really cannot complain too much over something that is free right? lol :)
