That's a loaded question, to which you will get a ton of answers and most will argue one over another.  Best advice is to try out the latest and if that doesn't work well on your system, try rolling back to an older version. If I were to recommend a driver that works for my system and my system only, I would say the 361.XX drivers.  I have had them installed on my rig for quite some time now and they perform well for P3D.  I have had many a notification come on my screen to update, but I've ignored it because, well, if it isn't broke, why fix it?

Well that's actually what they do with each drive that comes out in theory, fix it.. :)

I agree though, if simming is all you do, no reason to change. I use it for other stuff too so I'm always updating it.

I actually use my computer for more than flight simulation.  I use it for work, so I have a couple of CADD programs, some other engineering specific simulation applications, and of course the internet and office related apps.  Again, I find for my system that the 361.XX drivers work just fine.  I don't game as much as I used to, but for the games I do play on Steam, those drivers are still adequate.

Yep, thats's the key. Gaming. Most new games that come out receive some fix or other from the latest drivers.
