Fun facts:The total number of 737s in service is 4023, if you were to add the ones on order, the number jumps to 4683. Boeings share of the airline industry is at 48.8% with 10,544 in service and 946 on order. (These figures include the 7E7 orders).Airbus has a 15.4% share with 3320 aircraft in service and 1100 on order. (This includes the A-380)Rounding out the top 3 is Bomberdier with a 9.6% share, 2,069 aircraft in service and 288 on order. There are still 4 Douglas DC-3s in service, Rossair Kenya-1, Basler Airlines-1, Enterprise Air-1, Rhoades Aviation-1.
