RAAS Stopped

I don't know what happened, but RAAS stopped working after Fs2Crew PMDG 777 V 1.8 updated.

You'll need to be more specific.

 

In the RAAS menu, there are various systems test you can perform.

 

Run the audio self test.

I realized when I approach to Runway crossing or entering to active runway no more RAAS providing what RW I am going to cross or entering.

 

Where is the RAAS menu?

In the Addons Menu on the top of the screen.

 

Try running Make Runways again.  Test at a default airport.

Also check your PMDG Options in the FMC, there is an option to turn on/off RAAS, it may be off. I think that it's livery specific as well.

I think you can also set it via the PMDG Ops Center.

RAAS is not part of FS2Crew 777.  Same company, but totally separate programs.

If  you had  have  bought  the 777 captains  set  you would  have  gotten raas   with  it,   if  you havnt  gotten  the  ngx  as  of  yet  you can  buy the  captain  set and  get  Raas  included,  you  can also  buy  it  separately    if  you wish  and  it  will solve  your  issue

There's only one RAAS by FS2Crew, but there are two types.

 

One is locked to the PMDG 777 and Aerosoft Airbus, and the other works with all aircraft.

 

Other than that, everything is exactly the same with respect to RAAS functionality.

Can you run the RAAS audio self test.

Sometimes RAAS can take 20 seconds to appear in the Addons menu.
